Joseph Dewey was born at Pembury Hospital on the 6th of April 1988. He was raised in Tunbridge Wells with his brother and his two sisters. Living in Tunbridge Wells, Joseph attended Yew Tree Theatre School where he got his first taste of Performing Arts. Yew Tree Theatre School was a Saturday school where Joseph first studied Dance, Acting and Singing at the tender age of eight. Here he performed in many shows around the Kent area and his passion for the arts began.



At 14 years old Joseph was accepted to study at the acclaimed school, The BRIT School. Joseph did his GCSE's and A Levels along with studying Acting and Dance intensively. After completing four years at The BRIT School, Joseph then went onto take a three year BA Degree in Dance and Theatre Performance at Bird College and graduated in the summer of 2009.

Since graduating Joseph's career has gone from strength to strength working with top companies and individuals across TV and Film. Joseph is currently managed and represented by Linda French at APM Associates and is working his way to becoming a successful British actor.
