James has a love for Shakespeare, improvisation and comedy. He has worked in theatre, TV, film and the corporate acting world and has been a regular performer in the award winning immersive theatre production, "You Me Bum Bum Train" (Evening Standard Outstanding Newcomer Award 2010), a co-production with the Barbican, in which he was able to use his improvisation skills.



James also writes and has performed his own stand-up as well as creating sketch comedy material for other performers.

When not acting James has regularly volunteered with Crisis, the homelessness charity and hopes to bring some of the front line experience he gained with the homeless to his role in A Mile in His Soul.
